I’ve always been drawn to skating and the actual form of a skateboard as an artistic canvas. Since I don’t have the build to be a pro skater (I’m a 6”6 twig), several injuries and broken bones encouraged me to pursue designing instead of riding… </p> <p> In my work, I have fun intertwining pop culture and nostalgic icons from my childhood (especially cartoons). I love creating limited run decks, stickers and shirts that revel in parody, appropriation and general badassdom.
